Built in 1936, the manor is a stunning example of the elegance of the Georgian period, complete with grand stone gateposts and a stone forecourt beyond. Inside, there is a impressive Grand Staircase and a vestibule leading to the reception room and formal gardens beyond.
The manor’s magnificent formal gardens provide a tranquil retreat from the busy city life. A 160-foot balustrade terrace overlooks the gardens. Certainly the perfect setting for Champagne and hors d’oeuvres before sitting down to dine in the formal dining room.
Upon entering the manor, grand stone gateposts topped with carved stone greet you. The entrance hall leads to the Grand Staircase and sets the tone for the rest of the house. Notably, the staircase creates an impressive foyer where visitors can wait before entering into the reception room and gardens beyond.
The manor offers several spaces for weddings. One of which is the 160-foot balustrade terrace that overlooks the formal gardens. The terrace can seat up to 250 guests for lunch or dinner or 350 for a cocktail reception. A clear span canopy covers the terrace, making it perfect for outdoor events, rain or shine. The formal dining room is perfect for intimate dinners and can seat up to 50 guests. The reception room is perfect for larger events. It can accommodate up to 140 guests for lunch or dinner or 200 for a cocktail reception.
Wedding packages start at $8,000 for an afternoon rental of five hours. Which is for both peak and off-peak seasons, according to the Graydon Hall website. This rental fee includes exclusive use of the manor, multiple ceremony spaces, and more.
They can take care of your wedding day food and drink in-house, with bar prices starting at $15 per person. Similarly, they also offer the use of their luxury linens & table settings starting at $20 per person for cocktail style receptions.
