Ori & Cam got married at their favourite Toronto music venue, 3030 Dundas West, shortly after which the music and live performances started.
We started the day at Ori & Cam’s house with all of their friends and family spending time with each other, and discussing how the day was going to go. Ori & Cam were feeling adventurous so they threw on their winter boots and we went into their backyard (in the snow!) to take some portraits. I love photographing people in their homes, they’re always a perfect reflection of the couple who live there. From their house we took one big family photo and headed out in a limo. That’s where I captured my favourite frame of the day, squeezed into a corner, I took a picture of Ori & Cam kissing. The lighting was just perfect!
Once we arrived at the venue we continued our portrait session right in front of 3030 Dundas West, which was interrupted many times by people congratulating them. After the portraits they went in to begin welcoming guests and preparing for the ceremony. There were quite a few people there, however the ceremony still felt intimate. As soon as the ceremony ended Ori did a quick outfit change and the band started to play their first dance song. Soon everyone was on the dance floor, and shortly after that Ori and her dad were up on stage singing! Both Ori & Cam took turns getting up on stage and singing with the band. This one felt more like a concert than a wedding, and I loved it!
