Granite Club Wedding on Film & Digital
Granite Club is a social and athletic club in North York. This venue felt like it truly had everything, a huge ballroom which can fit up to 400 guests, a large courtyard perfect for ceremonies, and a modern interior with lovely artwork. The ballroom is massive, has a stage as well as an outdoor courtyard right next to it which is perfect for cocktails. The courtyard is wonderful for ceremonies, with a forest which is a great backdrop. They also have an art collection which is scattered throughout the hallways, and came in very handy for portraits on this wedding day.

WHY THE Granite CLUB WAS PERFECT FOR Carrington & Chris
Carrington & Chris are very low-key people who don’t enjoy being the centre of attention. Which is why they had a small ceremony with just their immediate family, followed by a reception where they had invited the rest of their guests. No dances, just a few speeches and occasionally asking me to whisk them away for portraits so they could get a breather. Which I happily did, as this venue had so many wonderful areas to create photos. They also wanted to take the opportunity to do things in a non-traditional way for their wedding. For them this meant Carrington wearing a black dress, as well as their reception having a strong Chinese cultural theme. The Granite Club is such a versatile venue that they were able to easily accommodate for the non-traditional aspects of their wedding day. Carrington & Chris really put together a fun day, here are some of my favourite images from the day.
