Kris & Aaron—Graydon Hall Manor Wedding

This wedding at Graydon Hall Manor was a blend of modern elegance filled with family and friends having a good time. When Kris and Aaron were describing the vision of their wedding day, the most important things to them were creating their own traditions and spending time with their family and friends. They wanted to spend their time around as much friends and family as they could, all while keeping the wedding day very simple. Their choice in venue, the stunning Graydon Hall Manor, allowed them to simplify their decor and to rely on the elegant historical building and grounds to do the heavy lifting. That coupled with a small gathering of family and friends resulted in the beautiful modern take on the wedding day.

Both Kris and Aaron had their friends and family with them in the morning to help them get ready. For Aaron, this meant a laid back morning spent with the people close to him. He had these adorable socks with Kris’ face on them which I just had to capture. Kris was also around his loved ones, however he was very nervous about the whole day; that is until his sister arrived. As soon as she arrived he calmed down as they went over his vows. The guests slowly settled into their seats while Kris and Aaron had an emotional first look at the foot of the stairs. After their meeting the energy in the room settled down, and everyone walked outside to their gorgeous ceremony space behind the manor. From here on out these two were always surrounded by loved ones; laughing, chatting, dancing, and just having a great time. I was able to sneak away with them for about 15 minutes for a few quick portraits, which were all done within the venue. Graydon Hall Manor has SO many beautiful areas for portraits, this is the perfect venue if you want to do everything in one place.

Another lovely wedding day, with a couple whose love for each other could be felt by just being in the same room as them.
