This wedding is Kelly and Matt’s urban, intimate wedding day at The Annex in Toronto. These two were looking for a low-key affair with just their close family and friends. We started off the day at the hotel with some portraits. I really enjoyed the various parts of the hotel, so many great photo opportunities! What won me over was the privacy screen, which doubled as a cool effect for a portrait of the couple. I love a good reflection photo and there were so many mirrors in the venue, another checkmark for this lovely space.
From the annex we travelled to the church for a short and sweet ceremony. After which we hung around the church taking portraits, and made our way back to the hotel for some final pictures before the reception began. These two had no problem just hanging out with each other as I snapped away. BTW, the green wall at the hotel entrance makes for a wonderful portraits spot! As everyone slowly made their way to the event space the drinks were flowing and Kelly and Matt finally got to let loose and have the party they were looking forward to the entire day. This was another lovely wedding, filled with lovely people. 🙂
